We were in a store today doing a little shopping and found a new shirt for Adriel that seemed really appropriate. I wonder if the school board will disapprove of it too?

He looks so proud. 🙂
I am a legal assistant, and as soon as I found out about your situation I started doing some of my own research. I came across a Texas U.S. District Court case from 1993 (ALABAMA AND COUSHATTA TRIBES OF TEXAS, a sovereign Indian Nation, et al., Plaintiffs, v. TRUSTEES OF the BIG SANDY INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, et al., Defendants.). The court ruled that the school’s long hair ban violated the 1st amendment. I don’t know if any subsequent decisions have overruled the ruling, but it is interesting and relevant nonetheless.
I can get you a copy of the court’s opinion if you want it.
