Congratulations! I am an ACLU supporter who stumbled onto your blog after I got wind of the decision. I’d been following your case and have been so touched by your story. I’m grateful to you for strengthening our Constitutional protections by helping set this important precedent.
I am so happy that you stood up for your son! I am a 7th grade teacher in GPISD here in Houston and after researching how to truly show Native Americans to my students, I came across your blog. Thank you so much for standing up and showing that all cultures and heritages should be respected and honored everywhere in the U.S. We owe it to you after all that our past has done…this is only a small part but hopefully much more will come your way. Many blessings on you!
